Sir,
I would like to remind u a very common incident which is happening throughout india and it just happened right in front of me 15mins ago at S5 of yeshawantapur dibrugarh express where RPF who are suppossed to serve and protect common people lotted money out of purse of passengers and threatened to take them to cell.its so annoying to see in front of my eyes and i could do nothing.pliz help in better serving of the people by the police.

MGNREGA the HERO or the VILLAIN for the POOR VILLAGERS?

Madam /Sir ,I want to draw your kind attention towards the India’s most popular Central Government scheme, the MGNREGA .I think this is the most popular and much needed scheme for the poor in rural area after Independence which actually helps the poor, and now we can not see any begger in the village because of MGNREGA .
But it is not implemented properly . Central Government has taken so many precautions so that the poor can get their wages , without any bribing to concerned department .At present it has become a vote bank for the ruling party all over India and source of income of party caders . I want to share some of its drawbacks with you.

The village Panchayat forces the innocent poor weak,aged people by saying “you have to go to our meeting and each and every gathering and have to raise our party flags in your hut otherwise your name will be deducted from job card . The poor Widows are the most common victims .JOB CARD becomes the most popular and easiest instrument to show power of the ruling party .These innocent people don’t know who provides money . And that’s why they get easily cheated .The usual routine before any work is given under MGNREGA is -Job cards are forcefully taken by Panchayat . And they can only get it back if they will submit some amount of their wage to Panchayat. And this is the way how innocent village people are looted . Also this is happening because of weak opponent or all are equal towards corruption.

The most cheating fact is that some people are so close to Panchayat that they can get 30% of the money without doing any work by submitting their job card only , and 70% wage to the Panchayat . Their is basically ‘ friends with benefit’ situation .Some Honest people do not support such corruption as a result you can find difference between their working days .Some ladies have Job cards that nobody knows about . They wear special types of dress during withdrawal of wages from Bank or something ,they need not stand in queue. Most amazing question is that who is doing the work in their place?

Another problems faced by the employee is that they don’t know when the work will start ? They wait through out the year for 100 days job .As a result they are house arrested by the Panchayat and bounded to go anywhere throughout the year.

Sir I don’t know why we are unable to implement such a good program .I don’t know why any card holder deposits his card . Please stop use of Job cards and make it digital so that people will get their true amount of their wage according to their capability and work efficiency. When the work will start , please send message in regional language so that people can understand. Please don’t involve a middle man, also please send number of days worker was absent and also fix dates for giving wages . Also make a survey about this and you will certainly come to know how these illiterate poor are treated by Panchayat and the Government employee . They have no idea about their rights . They always think they can lose their jobs any time .I think such people can never cast their votes according to their wish .

I am requesting all educated citizen specially students and their teachers please make such APPLICATIONs so that such corruption can be minimized . Please forward my email to students and Institutions .Thus we can show our real respect to our poor citizen.
