I am working as the District Sales Officer of West Bengal State Seed Corporation Ltd. (a Govt. of West Bengal Company) in the salary structure of 9000 – 40500 (Grade Pay: 4700) since August 2013.
In previous years, the Head office used to lift Breeder seeds from different Universities/Institutions of different states by engaging the Group- C and Group – D staffs of different units of the Corporation. However in this year, the Head office has passed an instruction whereby the District Sales Officers are also assigned the job alongwith the Group C and Group – D staffs.
We the Group – A officers are feeling that we are allotted a below profile job as the same job is allotted to Group-C and Group-D staffs in previous years and this year as well.
Is there any right of govt. servant by virtue of which he may protest against below profile job? Please suggest my course of action.
