    Can pry teachear do intraday trading (mis) or invest money in equity stocks to earn money as capital gain (short term capital gain or long term capital gain)?

    If so, how to pay income tax on it?

    No Government employee are allowed to do intraday trading. Because intraday trading involves frequent buy/sell which is not allowed by the Government Employee.

    However, investment in stock market is perfectly legal for a Government Employee. The capital gain (Short term or long term) is taxable as per IT act. The total taxable amount can be seen from the broker platform upon which tax can be paid.
