Hallo! I am school teacher in west bengal secondary school since 22.6.2011. Can I take 14 CL’s in first 2 mounth????????????

No. You must see to it that you avail CLs in correct proportion in respect of duration of service from the date of of joining following that you can take 14 CLs in 12 months in one academic calendar. It means you are allowed to avail 2.33 CLs within the first two months from the date of joining.

@Somnath Jana As per Circular No. S/104, dated 07.08.2009 issued by the WBBSE, a teaching or non-teaching staff may enjoy only 13 CL in the sesssion 2011-’12 (From February, 2011 to December, 2011). As your date of joining is 22-06-2011, you are entitled to enjoy a maximum of 7 CL in the session 2011-12 (i.e., up to Dec,2011). So no question of enjoying 14 CL in the first two months arises in your case.

@Somnath Jana In your case the above mentioned rule is applicable as @gpgarain has mentioned above. Also, keep one thing in mind that CLs are meant to be availed in a proportional manner throughout the year. It is not as if you are entitled to enjoy all the allotted CLs in a single month. Most HMs follow this rule.

@Somnath Jana If you are asking to avail CL in first two month after you joining in the year 2011, ans from gpgarain and Sourishjal may suffice. But if you are asking whether you can avail all your CL in the first two month of the academic session, there is no such clarification. or better to say there is no such restriction… but HM may not grant you leave in such a manner… how ever if situation arises like illness or other such unfortunate thing there is no bar to avail all the CL in first two montyhs if granted and if it does not violet other CL rule like continuous absence from school cannot be more than 7 days.
