Computer Post in WB Department

I don’t think there exist permanent post for Computer Operator or Computer Assistant in West Bengal.
Many higher offices use Computer after appointing a Computer Operator as daily rated worker. (Typically having monthly salary Rs. 8500/-, it may differ)

District Informatics Officer – National Informatics Centre (Each District)
Assistant District Informatics Officer – National Informatics Centre (Each District)
System Manager – Each District/State (GP – 4700/-)
Assistant System Manager – Each Sub-Division (GP – 4400)
District Informatics Analyst – Each Ziila Parisad ( GP – 4100)
Block Informatics Officer – Each Panchayet Samity/Block(Darjeeling) (GP- 3900)
Computer Assistant – Each Zilla Parisad (GP – 3600)
Data Entry Operator – District Planing Office/Panchayet Samity/Block(Darjeeling) (GP – 26000)

Thanks for your valuable information. But i have a little confusion. Hope you don’t mind answering my questions. National Informatics Centre is a Central Govt. organisation, as far as my knowledge goes. So let me know if first two designations are meant for w b govt employees. If GP means Grade Pay then the data entry operator should get Rs. 3600 because they should be hired at Upper Division Clerk/Assistant scale (in the question of pay parity).
