According to NCTE rule, minimum qualification of teachers in professional subjects like art, craft, work education existing eligibility norms prescribed by state government will be applicable. The state norms made by West Bengal of 2011 reflects same rule where a teachers with art and craft or tailoring need not compulsory b.ed. But when teachers in work education run for doing b.ed. in ODL mode, it seems they are unaware about the basic rule of appointment.
