I am appointed (temporarily) as a LDA in a directorate of West Bengal govt. in January, 2012 selecting through PSC, clerkship examination. When my service is confirmed i.e. appointed permanently and eligible for next promotion?
Firstly, welcome to the forum family.
You are expected to be confirmed in January, 2015 i.e. when your three years of continuous service is completed subject to your satisfactory Performance Report. (It is anticipated that no specific ‘probation’ period is specified in your Recruitment Rules).

The Quasi permanent process is become obsolate and at present if any new incumbents completes 1 year continuous satisfactory service then his/her service become confirmed. IS IT TRUE?
