1.When will the service on an A.T appointed on a permanent post be confirmed? 2. Should a teacher be allowed to contribute to PF before his/her confirmation?
June 18, 2012 at 5:35 pm #72878AnonymousInactiveThe confirmation is made after two years of continuous and satisfactory service. Contribution towards P.F. should be started after one year of service and its not related with confirmation.
June 20, 2012 at 2:16 am #72889AnonymousInactiveIf contribution to PF do not relate with ones confirmation then whether he/she should be allowed to contribute towards P.F from his 1st month salary?

July 1, 2012 at 3:00 pm #73034AnonymousInactiveI am going to join in another school through MUTUAL TRANSFER after completing about 10(ten) years of service as Assistant Teacher. I will be on temporary basis for one year & after one year appoint will be permanent. Now, when should my PF contribution be started? i.e, whether from my 1st month’s salary in new school or after completing one year of service. With thanks in advance.

I think if your service will continue then you should contribute P.F from the first month of your joining. Am I right ?July 1, 2012 at 4:20 pm #73036AnonymousInactiveAm I right ?

What makes you think your status will change from permanent to temporary again, even after 10+ years of service? Is it given in the conditions of Mutual Transfer? I have gone through the GO regarding Mutual Transfer carefully, but nowhere I have found that Mutual Transfer will render a Permanent AT back to his temporary status. Your service is being continued here. So, IMHO (in my humble opinion) you still remain a Permanent teacher in the new school. Your PF will be deducted accordingly.

If an incumbent do this, then what will be taken against him/her? Is here any G.O. regarding this? How it can be possible in that incumbent to contribute PF before completion of 6 months/1year ?
July 10, 2012 at 4:42 am #73182AnonymousInactiveAccording to G.P.F. rules all approved employees of the Recognised Non-Government Educational Institution shall be required to subscribe to the General Provident Fund on completion of one year’s continuous service.
Now if anyone violates this rule, disciplinary action should be taken.
