Head Teacher vacancy create in a Primary school either retirement of a Head Teacher or Transfer to another school as a H.T. In case of retire vacancy, another H.T. of the concern circle ( or others) may apply for the post of H.T. vacancy.
As a result one H.T. post will vacant due to transfer of an existing H.T. That Post will be fill from the Panel prepared by S.I/S according to seniority of the assistant teachers & also approved by D.P.S.C.
Now my question, 1) Has it any clear order about it? 2) Are existing Head Teachers may apply to those type vacancy (which create for H. T. transfer)? with regards.

Yes, there are specific guidelines regarding the matter.
Rule 17,18 & 19 of West Bengal Primary School Teachers Recruitment Rules state about Appointment of Head Teacher, Preparation of Panel & Posting respectively.

    Friend,
As per R.T. E. act No head teacher will be posted any Primary School if there existing students is less then 150. however
one head teacher should be go there, then one assistant teacher who is junior in service among two A.T. will be treated as surplus teacher. D.P.S.C. may be transfer to another if require. With thanks.
