    HELLO FRIENDS,
    MY WIFE IS A TEACHER IN A WB GOVT. AIDED HIGH SCHOOL. AFTER MARRIAGE SHE CHANGED HER SURNAME(RAJAK) INTO MY SURNAME(DAS) BY AFFIDAVIT. THEN SHE CHANGED HER SURNAME IN ELECTION I.CARD, RATION CARD, DRIVING LICENSE AND PAN CARD ALSO. NOW HER SURNAME IS ‘DAS’ IN EVERY DOCUMENTS. BUT SHE IS KNOWN TO HER PREVIOUS SURNAME (RAJAK) IN HER SCHOOL RECORDS LIKE SERVICE BOOK, APPROVAL ETC.
    I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO CHANGE HER SURNAME IN HER SCHOOL DOCUMENTS. PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR VALUABLE SUGGESTIONS.

    There is no way to change her surname Rajak instead of Das. Only in her service book, may be change her surname as Mrs. X Das ( Nee Rajak) after application with the Certificate of Marriage Registration or Affidavit to the School Authority. Approval etc. will not be changed.

    1ST QUESTION : WHAT WOULD BE HER SIGNATURE AT ATTENDANCE REGISTER OR OTHER DOCUMENTS AT SCHOOL ? { MRS. X DAS OR MRS. X DAS(RAJAK) OR MRS. X RAJAK }
    2ND QUESTION : IS THERE ANY PROBLEM IN FUTURE ?
    3RD QUESTION : SHE HAS A SALARY ACCOUNT AT SBI. THERE SHE IS KNOWN AS MRS. X RAJAK. WHAT TO DO THERE (BANK) ?

    If the signature is not full signature then the existing is perfect but if its not then I am afraid to suggest you to tell your wife to sign as per the name recorded in your marriage registration after registering the new signature with your Bank.
    No.
    Just change the name of the account holder with supporting documents though it may require time to arrange for the suitable documents with name changed.In addition, it differs as per the norms specified by different Banks. Some may even accept the marriage invitation Cards to change it.
