    my date of joining as an a.t.in additional post is 14.02.2008.prior to joining i was studying regular B.Ed course.after joining school i was granted without pay e.o.l. from 01.03.2008 to 19.06.2008 (total 111days) by m.c. for study & appearing in b.ed exam on the basis of my prayer.i joined school on 20.06.2008. i am getting my increment from 1st july 2009.will these e.o.l have any effect on my 10/20 years benefit?what will be the qualifying service?

    what does notionally means?on 1st july 2009 i am already doing more than 1yrs of continuous service.at the end of ten years of joining how these e.o.l be counted?

    Acc. to my thinking you will get your 10yrs benefit as on 01/07/18 as well as a annual increment.

    I also think you will get the annual increment first and the the 10 years benefit on the same date 01.07.2018.

    EOL is counted in service period. It is GRANTED by the competent authority for a period of absence from duty with out pay. So, it is not a break in service.
