Sir,
I am posted as Welfare Officer ( Non-uniformed) in the department of West Bengal Correctional Service for last four years. There is no system of general rest / leave ( saturday/sunday and other calender holidays) in this dept. as compensation we get the 30 days leave compensation pay. My question is that as I am not a uniformed Correctional Home Officer like Asst. Controller/Controller/Chief Controller/Superintendent, then whether I can opt between “general rest” and “30 days leave compensation pay” or not. And sir, if any order/rule/GO regarding this “30 days leave compensation pay” is in your knowledge, can u please post in this forum?
