Iβm a primary school teacher of a govt. school. I resumed my duty after taking 180 days Maternity Leave. Now, about after 6 months of resume my duty, SI Sir asked me to submit the Medical Certificate of Fitness. On that time I replied him that, in case of Maternity Leave there is no need of Medical Certificate of Fitness as it is not Medical Leave or Sick Leave, even I’ve furnished to him the βWEST BENGAL PRIMARY TEACHERS LEAVE RULE, 1999β (Notification No.: 453-SE(Pry) Dated: 04-05-1999). But, he doesn’t be of the same mind. In this situation how can I establish that, to resume the duty after Maternity Leave there is no need of Medical Certificate of Fitness.
Has there any GO, ORDER, NOTIFICATION or MEMORANDUM?
