Dear Member have you seen the govt order to change the status of your school. You can change the status of “Recognised Non-Government Aided Schools” to “Government Sponsored Schools”. It is applicable for both high schools and higher secondary schools. To change the status of your school you have to apply within 24.12.12 positively. You can apply offline or online.

But the question is: What are the benefits of this conversion?

According to my knowledge, you may got more financial support for infrustuctural development, like building, library, laboratory furniture etc. Most of the teachers dislikes the present format of M.C. In the govt sponsored school the M.C. is formed by govt nominated persons.
