Sir, I had joined West Bengal Government Police department as a constable on 05 Jun 66 and on completion of 41 years service retired on 30 Jun 2007. On implementation 6th pay commission with effect from 01Apr 2008, I have not received revised pension and pensioner benefits till to date. In this concern, I have submitted my application to Superintendent of Police, Uttar Dinajpur on 15 Jan 2012. However, till to date I have not received any reply. My particulars are as follows:-
    Govind Singh Retd Constable (489)
    Vill- Bhawanipur Khulbe
    PO- Peerumadara
    Dist- Nainital – 244 715
    Uttrakhand
    PPO No. WB-U-239/08-09
    Pension Account No. 2201580690-8

Dear Mr. Rawat. Welcome to this forum. We are happy to have you.
I am very sorry to know that you have not yet been benefited with your revised scale of Pay as per W.B.S.(ROPA), 2009. As you wrote you retired on 2007 and sent application for revised pension on just January,2012. I think you are too much late on this aspect as you should endeavour to send the application as soon as the publication of New ROPA. I suspect there were some special reasons behind it.
Now coming to the point I would like to say that the work flow at A.G.W.B. as well as D.P.P.G. are too slow. They give priority to the Death cases and timely submitted sup pension cases. The Revised pension cases and late submitted sup pension cases takes too much time. In my experience it may take over one and half year. As you are presently residing in Uttrakhand, it will not be easy for you to visit the Office of A.G.W.B. But if you can visit with a copy of the forwarding letter of your revised pension papers, it may be helpful for you.
Best of luck. Feel free to xpress yourself.
