I’ve joined at a Madhyamik school (upto Class X), namely Mahendrapur High School,in Malda District as an Assistant Teacher of English (PG) on 18/12/2013.We have total 5 nos. Assistant Teachers of English subject- 2nos. English (PG), 2nos. English (Pass) & 1 no. English (Para Teacher). I’ve come to know that teachers taking classes V-VIII are eligible for ODL mode B.Ed. Is it true? and if true then, if I take classes upto VIII, shall I be eligible to do B.Ed in ODL mode?

Normal Section means Madhyamik Section in which you’re appointed. It should be mentioned in your copy of Approval.
July 7, 2014 at 1:03 pm #79646AnonymousInactiveI’ve been mentioned as Nornal Section Teacher in my Approval Letter .Now, I’ve heard that I will be asked to do B.Ed in ODL Mode after 2 (Two) years. Is it right? 2) can I apply for B.Ed in regular course ? If yes, please mention procedure.
July 10, 2014 at 2:33 pm #79653AnonymousInactiveYou may apply to the college(s) , and if you get the chance to take the admission, then you may do the course on deputation and as normal procedure.
At first you will apply to your HM/MC to do B.Ed. According to seniority they give you permission (Max. 2 teachers may go to deputation.) as well as they will send your application along with the resolution to the D.I. to get permission. Then you may admit in B.Ed.July 10, 2014 at 4:11 pm #79656AnonymousInactiveSome universities demand at least 3 years’ teaching experience for deputed candidates. Here is an example….

Two years’ teaching experience in a Govt. or Govt. recognized school is needed to pursue B.Ed. under Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. See details here No. 456(14)-Edn(U)/1U-23/12, dated 11.05.2012
