Honorable members,
Para teachers are scheduled to teach up to class eight. But it is often seen that they are teaching up to HS section.
Can they deny being teacher of HS section?
What is their right in this concern?
(You should keep in the mind that in some schools Para-teachers are treated as 2nd class citizens)
With hope, Asdul.April 6, 2012 at 11:54 am #71884AnonymousInactiveDear friend,
Actually Para teachers have been appointed for the implementation of Universal Elementary Education. It is up to Class- VIII. That is why they should take their class up to class – VIII even they are not for normal class like other teachers. They are specially for slow learners, irregular students etc. Para teachers will visit their students at home, meet their Guardians also as and when required. Mainly our para teachers will help to acquire at least minimum level of learning of their students.
It is also a fact, a large number of school are suffering due to insufficient teachers. So, the Administration compel to provide upper class as per qualification of our Para teachers for the greater interest of our child like students, betterment of our school even our society. Otherwise what should our Hon’ble H.M./A.H.M.or M.C. do?
I think , any school can’t be run smoothly without the cooperation of our Honorable Para teachers. I beg your advance pardon if i am wrong. with regards.April 6, 2012 at 4:17 pm #71888AnonymousInactiveI am totally agree with you my dear friend but its the fact that the Para teachers are treated as 2nd class citizens by most of the regular teachers When you need them to run the school smoothly, you give them extra responsibility showing lotsa excuse When they sit beside, you stare with your neglecting eyes This is totally unfair! Who can say that the para teachers have not the quality to be a regular teacher or more than that? I am afraid, this kind of attitude have not only been discouraging the Para teachers but also deteriorating our civilization. What will our kids learn? They will learn how to neglect the juniors! I am sure that the Para teachers would gladly accept the extra responsibility without claiming any extra remuneration and also for their own interest to acquire some higher teaching experience, if the atmosphere was good there. We must not forget that We all are same blooded human and creating such kind differentiation is against humanity.
In the conclusion, its my appeal to the regular teachers, please treat the Para teachers as your own brothers and sisters keeping in view that they are also your colleagues.
I hope my appeal will get supported by the valuable members of this Forum and kind attention of the regular teachers.April 7, 2012 at 7:49 am #71897AnonymousInactiveplease treat the Para teachers as your own brothers and sisters keeping in view that they are also your colleagues.

Some of our teachers have their vanity. They always neglect some lower income persons but I think they are neglected by himself or herself. Actually some of our para teachers are more qualified, they have sufficient teaching knowledge, they are popular to our children .sorry to say that, those para teachers are ill fated.
It is also true-
major portion of our teachers have on any vanity. They always treat all para teachers and also younger teachers as like as brother. Para teachers are generally young and energetic. so our school Administration even some senior teachers expect to get more and more from our honorable Para teachers.
Friend, teachers are teachers.Don’t look behind, do work spontaneously at your won motion.God will pay your remuneration. We are now awaiting for your bright future. With heart full regards.April 7, 2012 at 12:43 pm #71900AnonymousInactiveDear Partners

Dear ASDUL,
There is a G.O. regarding the duties, responsibilities and leave rules for the para teachers. I think you have already gone through the said G.O. No. 134-SE(Pry)/55/Ped/PBSSM, dated 26/02/2009. However, this is the only one regarding this issue.May 1, 2012 at 11:47 am #72274AnonymousInactiveHello FRIENDS,
First of all, i want to well come your good thoughts about para teachers. Dear friends all of you say and discussion is right.
But i want to say, “we all know very well that a para teacher is highly educated and have the ability to teach even H.S. Level. Then if government wants, they (government) can put us as permanent teacher in new vacant post.
A government can do this easily and many problem will be solved.
Problem no 1. The government have not any headache about para teacher.
Problem no 2. The para teacher’s future will secure,
Problem no 3. There will no movement from para teacher against the government
Problem no 4. Government can easily get the favour of para teacher in forth coming Election.
Problem no 5. No one can play with para teacher’s felling.
Problem no 6. No need for thinking about the remuneration of para teacher separately.
Problem no 7. In the mane time government will fill the teacher students ratio in almost every school
Problem no 8. Government can use the money of SSA. as generally doing
and so many.
If we think positively and deeply there will many Problem can be solved. “
Thanks to all of you.May 1, 2012 at 12:37 pm #72276AnonymousInactiveDear Friend,
We know more or less your problems. We all are running with some problems. I think we all know that all the problems in our life will not be removed from our life.Hope , some of our problems must be remove in future gradually. Being a teacher we have some restriction. We should abide by all Govt. Orders. Be cool my dear friend because we are men makers. We may appeal to the Hon’ble Gov. regarding our demand time to time unitedly. Hope that it will be fruit full in near future. Don’t mind my friend, take my heartiest love. -
