I served as Sub Inspector of West Bengal Police from 01/11/2019 to 17/05/2023 got increments on 01/07/2020, 01/07/2021, 01/07/2022.
After all formalities and NOC joined as Assistant Agricultural Marketing Officer (Administrative) [Sane Scale/ Grade Pay] on 18/05/2023 on lien from the post of SI.
When I released from Lien from the post of SI, my Basic Pay was 35100/- but when I joined as AAMO(A) my basic starts at 32100/-. After praying of pay Protect Finance dept allowed my prayer or ordered the basic pay on the post of AAMO(A) will be the last pay of old post that is 35100/-.
But they also mentioned my next increment fall due on 01/07/2024 showing the logic of not fulfilling six months in the new post but as per rule 42A(b) & 48(b) of WBSR – I old service should be count for the purpose of increment. And as per eule 42 my pay should not be reduced as I have taken NOC and No sudden financial reduction should be happen to the employee as per service rule but in my case one increment is likely to be vanished.
What should I do now?
What orders / rules should I mention to them so that my increment for that year can be protected?
Please guide me.
