    higher education permission
I have joined as assistant teacher in a junior high school in h/pg category . I applied to my secretary (ad hoc committee) for allow me to continue my study (m.sc). But he reject my application and told me, since my post is in additional vacancy, I’m not allowed to continue my study for 2 years, I’ll get permission after confirmation of my job.is it true? please provide the documents.

    Re: higher education permission
Never true. Should the Govt make order for each and every steps? Please ask the secretary to show you the relevant Rules or Govt order where the restriction is mentioned. For your further reference you may have a look at this link. https://wbxpress.com/topic/higher-education-of-teachers/

Thanks for the info sir. I have a long argument over this and I asked to show me the rule/order but he refused. If I don’t take permission from m.c and apply d.i for thepermission then? Can I get increment after completing my study?there is no way my secretary give me the permission.he behaved very roughly.

Yes, it is harsh but true. As per Board’s No. 8417/G dated 07.11.1981, Except Casual Leave, no other leave is admissible to a teacher or a non-teaching employee of a school appointed in the additional post (sanctioned for two years), till the said post is declared as permanent by the competent authority.
After getting permanent, leave will be credited in your account for the temporary period also. (Reference: Memo No. S/435 dated 06.06.2001)

    Re: higher education permission
Till you can complete your Master Degree through correspondence Courses before confirmation. You have to maintain certain criterias. 1. No hamper of Office works will be allowed. 2. No study leave or other leave except casual leave will be allowed. 3. Scholarships / Grants etc will not be allowed. None has the authority to restrict you from higher study.

    Re: higher education permission
Prior permission should be accorded and after successful completion of study, benefits should be given for the qualification. There is no special order for Distance education. Sorry dear friend, no such Govt order I found. I request our site admin or active members to look into the matter if they can provide you any related Govt Order.
