TREAT THE FOLLOWING AS URGENT AND IMPORTANT:
I have joined in a higher secondary school as an assistant teacher on 16.09.2009. i have got salary from December 2009 which is for the month of November 2009. i got salary for the 15 days of september 09 (joining month) and october 2009 (next month of joining) as arear in the financial year 2010-2011.
now the problem is that my form 16 for 2009-2010 shows that i have received the salary for sept09(15 days) and oct09. And form 16 for financial year 2010-11 shows that i have received that amount as arear. As the tax became higher so my school has split the tax for financial year 2010-11 to the financial year 2009-10, then also i have not been caught in the income tax slab for the financial year 2009-10. i want to clear that logically all the taxes till now has been cleared from my point of view.
Now my question is: 1) WHAT PROBLEM SHOULD I HAVE TO FACE IN FUTURE FOR MY INCORRECT FORM 16 ???
2) HOW THE FORM 16 (signed by HEADMASTER only) CAN BE CORRECTED FROM THE GRASS-ROOT LEVEL SO THAT I HAVE NOT TO FACE ANY PROBLEM REGARDING THIS IN MY FUTURE????
3) IN WHICH DEPARTMENT SHOULD I CONTACT AND HOW….. PLZ SHOW ME THE PATH SO I CAN WALK…
