    Can anyone claim 25 years benefit if he refuse the promotion? Related clause please.

    What may be the reason behind it?
    CAS is awarded even after promotion.

    CAS benefits cannot be claimed in lieu of promotion. Such benefits are granted when promotion is not earned in due course of time. Once the hard-earned promotion is refused the spirit of CAS benefits is also defeated.
