i am working in labour dept of wb govt in group B post. i have completed 1year of service. not yet permanent, still temporary. notice period is 1 month. before joining this post i have applied for school service commission exam. i was not aware to take permission from authority to appear in the exam. now i have passed in exam & interview. so if i resign and could not serve 1 month notice period will there be any problem while joining new job? do i have to collect release order from current employer before joining new job?
