InactiveHi everybody!
Is there any such G.O. on the basis of which a Headmaster can force any of his assistant teacher to send him/her to perform the duty of Invigilation in the HS Exam to another school situated 35 kms away without providing any T.A.?
Is it mandatory for an assistant teacher to do the said duty? Can the HM forcibly apply a Medical Leave or Leave without pay against failing to do said duty? Is there any fixed rule? If there is any, please help me out.
Its very very urgent.

That is what I wish to know. Hope you guide me. Thank you again

March 8, 2013 at 3:36 pm #77245InactiveThere is no option for T.A. But I can’t understand if you are not physically fit and also for a long distance why your H.M don’t find any other staff?
Secondly why the said School (H.S centre) don’t ask to there neighboring Schools to send the invigilators (Teacher), why a School ask to a School which is 35km of distance? Is there no School is situated around 5-10km away from that School?March 9, 2013 at 4:53 pm #77277InactiveHow many teachers are going from your school? Actually the center in charge has the power to take any teacher from the non participating school for invigilation duty. Though I am agree with Torkona, but in general cases the center secretary i.e. the H.M. of the school (center) requests the neighbouring non participating schools to send there teachers for inv duty. But I know there are so many schools where the H.M. /staffs does not agree to do. In that case the center in charge can send the letter indivisually to the teachers. Now what happened in your case?
March 10, 2013 at 5:24 am #77284InactiveIn my case, my headmaster has not discussed the matter with any of the staff and simply issued a notice for the said duty mentioning only 12 teachers out of 20. and when we 12 asked why the other teachers(among whom 2teachers have their residence only within 10 kms from the centre) were engaged he simply replied that he would not say anything about and only he could do a Medical leave if anyone does not go for it. simply he is ruling an autocracy with some spoons and others are being continually harrased.

How a center can want 12 teachers out of 20 from a school? They can want a several no. of teachers from different schools. Actually what is the no.of teachers in the school, also the no of examinee where the center? I can not understand the actual reason.
March 10, 2013 at 6:22 am #77288InactiveI AM SORRY SINCE ONE THING I HAVE MISSED OUT TO SAY. 12 TEACHERS HAVE BEEN POSTED ROTATIONALLY. TWO TEACHERS EACH DAY AND FOR TWO DAYS.
FOR TORKONA, MY SCHOOL IS AN HS ONE.
THE DUTY HE ASSIGNED TO THOSE ALSO WHO ARE NOT ATTACHED TO HS SECTION SAY PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER.
HIS OWN SUBJECT IS CHEMISTRY AND SO HE HAS MADE A GROUP AMONG OTHER SCIENCE TEACHERS AND THOSE SCIENCE TEACHERS ARE NOT ASSIGNED TO ANY SUCH DUTIES.
THE SCIENCE STREAM HAS BEEN INTRODUCED IN OUR SCHOOL IN 2008 AND IN NO YEAR THE INTAKE OF SCIENCE STUDENTS HAS INCREASED TO 12. AND ABOVE ALL, STILL NOW THE RESULT OF ARTS STREAM IS MUCH HIGHER THAN THAT OD SCIENCE. -
