For complete information, you have to go through New Leave Rules for Primary Teachers i.e. West Bengal Primary Education (Leave of Teacher of Primary Schools) Rules, 1999 published vide G.O. No. 453-SE(Pry) dated 04-05-1999. However I can give you the basic idea:
(a) Casual Leave – Maximum 14 days during a calendar year.
(b) Maternity Leave – For a period not exceeding 180 days at a time.
(c) Compensatory leave – 240 days in service life.
(d) Half Pay Leave – Not exceeding 30 days for each completed year of service.
(e) Commuted Leave – Maximum of 180 days on full pay in entire service life.
(f) Leave on Medical Ground – Maximum of 180 days during the entire period of service.
(g) Extraordinary Leave without Pay – 24 months leave without pay.
(h) Special Leave – Maximum 18 months in full service life.
(i) Quarantine Leave – 21 days.

It is too late to reply. Sorry for this. Now I wish to know about the child care leave which is accepted by W.B. Sate Govt. Is the leave is only for the state govt employee ? or primary school teacher is also able to get the leave?

CCL is not permissible for Govt Aided School Teachers till date. This requires a policy decision by the Govt.

Employees of School Education Dept are State Govt employees (since it is a secretariat) and they are eligible for CCL

We have seen from our previous experience, a lion share of Govt. orders come for the teachers after the Govt. employees. Very recent we have seen in case of extended Maternity leave, Child adoption leave even ROPA ’09. That is why we can expect C C L will be implement for the teachers near future. All ready announced by the Govt. ( Budge Speech-2012-13) Health scheme for the teachers. So we expect it will be implement gradually.
