Sir i would also like to know few things which are :
1.) My wife got selected for STAFF NURSE GRII on basis of her GNM education . But She did Post basic B.sc Nursing (Graduation in nursing), I want to know will she get any increment at the time of joining or not ? If yes, What she need to do?
2.) Post Basic B.sc. Nursing holder is eligble for sister tutor posts, So how can she apply for that without loosing her current staff nurse job?
3.) Her ESIC result is also awaited and we are sure that she will crack ESIC Staff Nurse too. ESIC Grade pay is 4600 and pay scale is 9300-34000. We know that the salary would be much higher than WB health. But we need to know what if i join in WB Health as staff nurse and i got a call from ESIC. What she need to do for joining ESIC?
I know i am asking too much questions, but i request you to help me out coz no one from our family or friend works with government .thats why we dont have any knowledge regarding all these things. I hope you dont mind in giving reply.
Thanks in advance…

March 9, 2012 at 5:30 pm #71540AnonymousInactiveFor West Bengal all HRA is 15%
there is no difference for location.March 9, 2012 at 6:23 pm #71541AnonymousInactiveAs far as I know H.R.A. differs from Metro to non Metro location but I may be wrong. Assuming that your wife didnt applied for any “no objection certificate” before applying to ESIC, she cannot continue her present service to join the new. She will have to resign her present service. Sorry for the rest quarries as those are much internal matter of the Department of Health. By the way I would like to inform you that some special allowance may be admissible to her like uniform allowance and Washing Kit allowance. You should get more informations from competent authorities.

I read here that kolkata comes under X category hence HRA for kolkata is 30% and asansol is in Y category so asansol HRA is 20%, rest all cities comes under Z category cities hence all cities except kolkata and asansol will get 10% HRA.
As nandimrinal said that whole west bengal has 15% HRA but above docs is saying something else.
Please clarify…
regardsMarch 10, 2012 at 4:01 am #71546AnonymousInactiveThe above mentioned document is for all India services. But here West Bengal House Rent Allowance Rules is to be followed, nandimrinal rightly said, it is flat 15% of basic.
