In the meeting of a staff council, academic council or managing committee (mainly), various matters releted to the school are discussed and take decision in respect of every item for discussion. May be some of them are unanimous, and may not be. There may be controversy and difference of opinion., vote may be needed for making an end of the controversy. Resolution is the by-product of all such discussion and decision, which are noted down and drafted for preservation in the Record Book which is termed as Minute Book or Resolution Book (Register)- which is very very important not only for the present but also for future reference as and when required. Resolution Drafting is a written document ” in a nut-shell / brief/ summary ” of the meeting.
