Your answer will not find in H.M manual. Such papers are submitted by any one of the staff with authorization letter. But in many cases if the H.M. go to submit the papers to D.I. Office/WBBSE (Salt lake/Parkstreet) /WBCHSE (Salt lake) or any others else then there may get an advantage.
For example, Your H.M. send you to submit the Requisition of Salary with an authorization letter. There you find a notice, to submit a declaration about ODL for the non-trained teachers. or such notice where the school pad and the signature of the H.M. is must and it is urgent. What can you do for this moment ? Nothing to do . But , it must be possible to submit / correction/addition/ deletion of any thing of papers ,if the H.M. is present himself at the office.
In case of to drop of letters , to update the bank passbooks & withdraw money , to submit the salary requisition of para teachers etc , there H.M !
No, No,………. Is there not any Gr.D or Para Teacher in you school ?August 9, 2013 at 4:08 pm #78477AnonymousInactiveThis is a question with vague idea and somehow with a sot of misunderstanding. The answer is not included in any manual, simply because it should not arise normally except without some personal and/or group interest. It should not be ……. it should not be.
Let us understand this way :
a) Who is the Official Head of the School : Headmaster.
b) Who manages official works at School : Headmaster.
c) Who is held responsible for any official works at School : Headmaster.
d) Who looks after the overall duties and responsibilities of any of the teaching and non teaching staff of the school : Headmaster.
So, it is clear that the Headmaster will decide whom the duties under consideration should be conferred upon. No question thereof. The Headmaster may attend any office ( SI/AI/DI/WBBSE/WBCHSE/SSC/BDO/SDO/DM/DPO/BCW/Bank etc.) personally or through representative(s) selected by him from among the teaching and non teaching staff of the school at such days and hours as he thinks fit or suitable for the interest of the school. But, I agree with Mihir Acharya that it is always more advantageous if the Headmaster attends the offices himself, simply because he may take on the spot decision and take necessary action along with paper works. But such attendance may not always be possible for him for various reasons. So he is to send representatives. Lastly, a humble request : Please do not race to be such representative(s).
Thanks to all. -
