Sub: Validity of the L.O.C. Cheques issued on or before 31.03.2014 by the Divisional Officers of Public Works Executing Departments and Forest Department.
Sir,
I am directed to say that it been decided by the State Government that all the L.O.C. Cheques issued on or before 31.03.2014 by the Divisional Officers of Public Works Executing Departments and Forest Department of the State Government shall remain valid for encashment upto 10.04.2014.
In view of the above decision, I am directed to request you to kindly issue suitable instructions to all concerned including all the units of the ‘Agency Banks’ to ensure encashment of all the L.O.C. Cheques issued on or before 31.03.2014 within the fixed date of 10.04.2014 and to see that no such cheque is encashed after the said fixed date of 10.04.2014.
