MEMORANDUM

The undersigned is directed to inform that the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote-on-Account) Bill, 2013 passed by the West Bengal Legislative Assembly has received the assent of the Governor of West Bengal.

2. Copy of the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote-on-Account) Act, 2013 is enclosed.

3. While utilizing the funds as provided in the said Act, it may be ensured that no expenditure on a “New Service” is incurred until the Demands for the whole year are voted by the State Legislature and the relevant Appropriation Bill is assented to by the Governor.
