Public Holiday on account of Ram Navami, 2024
Governor is pleased to declare 17th April, 2024 (Wednesday) as Public Holiday on the occasion of Ram Navami under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881.

Introduction of Integrated Financial Management System, IFMS
In the first phase, e-Bantan will be implemented, tentatively from 1st April 2014. Allotment /release of fund including Budgetary allocation to the Administrative Departments shall be uploaded from time to time by the Finance Department in e-Bantan.

Deputation of State Govt. Employees as per WBSR
An employee on deputation may elect to draw either the pay in the scale of pay of the deputation post or his basic pay in the parent department plus deputation allowance.

Use of Government Vehicles on Saturdays/ Sundays/ Holidays
For the Saturdays, Sundays or/and other notified holidays including non-working days in a month, if the vehicles engaged on monthly hiring basis are kept as Stand-by, only the daily hiring charges for such days may be paid on the basis of the Stand by certificate.

Clarification 2 of West Bengal Services ROPA Rules, 2019
Certain instances of irregularity in fixation of pay on promotion to a post within the period of probation in the respective lower post have come to the notice of the Government.

Revised Guidelines for Procurement of Goods/ Services from WTL
Procurement of I.T. products like computers and peripherals, printers, scanners, photocopiers etc. can be made through WTL only if the product is not available in GeM. For this WTL will be allowed a commission of 2% on the value of the products procured.
