The functions of the Finance Department are performed through 5 (five) branches, namely, Audit, Budget, Revenue, Internal Audit and Institutional Finance.
Discontinue the present LOC System for execution of Works and Forest Expenditure and bring the working of the Works and Forest Divisions under the ambit of the Treasury System through allotment of funds w.e.f. 01.04.2015.
Bills against sanction/ Allotment Orders issued up to 27th February, 2015 must be submitted to Treasury by 16th March, 2015. No new Bill shall be received by the Treasury after 6 p.m. on 31.03.2015.
Salary Bills for March 2015 should be presented by 13.03.2015. Bills for other personal claims must be submitted on or before 13.03.2015. Bills returned upto 06.02.2015 shall be resubmitted on or before 13.02.2015.
Bye-Elections to 14-Bangaon (SC) Parliamentary Constituency and 88-Krishnaganj (SC) Assembly Constituency scheduled to be held on 13th February, 2015 (Friday) declared as public holiday.
Dearness Relief to State Govt Pensioners/ Family Pensioners whose pension/ family pension has not been revised @ 139% w.e.f. 01.01.2015.
State Government Pensioners/ Family Pensioners shall draw Dearness Relief @ 65% of basic pension/ basic family pension with effect from 1st January, 2015.
Grant of Dearness Allowance to the Teachers and Non-Teaching Employees of Non-Government Educational Institutions/ Employees of Statutory Bodies/ Government Undertakings/ Panchayats including Panchayat Karmee and Municipal Corporation/ Municipalities, Local Bodies etc. with effect from January 01, 2015.
Rates of Dearness Allowance to the employees (who are drawing their pay in the pre-revised scale) shall be enhanced from the existing rate of 127% to 139% with effect from 01.01.2015.
Grant of Dearness Allowance to the State Government Employees and further Ad-Hoc Increase in the Wages of Daily Rated Workers under the Government with effect from January 01, 2015.
Fateh-Dwaj-Daham will fall on Sunday i.e 04-01-2015 which is a public Holiday under N.I Act and on 24-12-2015, Thursday which has already been notified as holiday.
