A national Initiative for Awards to Public Health Facilities, KAYAKALP, to promote Cleanliness, Hygiene and Infection Control practices contributing to the goals of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

No Leave Sanction in Health Deptt during Heat Wave Situation

All Government Health Care Delivery facilities are directed not to sanction any kind of leave in favor of all the Medical Teachers, Medical Officers, Nursing Personnel and other concerned employees deployed and functioning in high priority delivery points namely maternity wards, Labor Rooms, Neonatal Wards, Pediatric Wards, NICU, PICU, SNCU, SNSU etc.

Observation of World Population Day, 2014

As decided in the Orientation and Dissemination Workshop on FP 2020 held on 19.06.2014 at Gateway, the World Population Day, 2014 and Population Stabilization Fortnight, 2014 will be celebrated throughout the State.

Childhood Diarrhoea Control Campaign, 2014

Childhood diarrhoeal diseases continue to be a major killer among under five children, contributing to 11 percent of under five deaths in the country. Around 2 lakh children are lost due to diarrhoea annually.

Admission of RSBY Beneficiaries in all Hospitals

A special stamp to be affixed in the tickets of all the patients coming to emergency who claimed as RSBY beneficiary and patient party to be advised to approach the RSBY Help Desk. Strong steps against Specialists/ MO’s/ Surgeons or any persons who are refusing to admit RSBY card holders in any of the empanelled government hospitals, may be taken.
