West Bengal Government Notification
This department has been vested with the responsibility of maintaining and developing the health care system in W.B. Public health, sanitation and hospitals are the exclusive responsibilities of the State.
(a) Information regarding availability of essential service packages in State Government Run Health Facilities and (b) Assistance in availing the service packages rendered by the State Government Run Health Facilities.
Tribal Health Project is not approved by the Govt. of India, hence the project will continue till 30.06.2012 and from 1st July, 2012, it will cease to function.
Agreement between State Nodal Agency, Swasthya Sathi, Government of West Bengal and Insurance Company under Swasthya Sathi Scheme.
Health & Family Welfare Deptt. shall constitute a College Level Approval Committee (CLAC) comprising the following for each Medical/ Dental College in the State by notification.
Govt health facilities/units will provide full course of medicine to the patients as per prescription provided by the attending physician in the OPD at the time of/during the first visit at Govt hospital & also at emergency department.
