Enhancement of Superannuation Age in Health Department
Age of superannuation of all persons borne in the cadre of West Bengal Medical Education Service (WBMES) is enhanced from 62 years to 65 years and in the cadre of West Bengal Health Service (WBHS) and West Bengal Public Health-cum-Administrative Service (WBPH&AS) from 60 years to 62 years.

Amendment of Rule 75 of West Bengal Service Rules
Sub-rules (aa) and (aaa) of rule 75 of West Bengal Service Rules Part I (Compulsory Retirement) shall not be admissible to holder of the West Bengal Health Services, the West Bengal Medical Education Services, the West Bengal Public Health-cum-Administrative Services, the West Bengal Dental Services and the West Bengal Dental Education Services.
