Government Circular regarding Strike on 20th September, 2012
NDA has given a call for a 24-hours Bharat bundh all over India commencing from 06-00 hours on the 20th September, 2012 and left front has also called for a 12-hours general strike in West Bengal.

Commission of Inquiry for Sharadha Group of Companies

Prohibition on Assembly of Five or More Person
The Commissioner of Police, Kolkata has prohibited for a period of 60 days from 14th March, 2014 to 12th May, 2014 until further order, any assembly of five or more persons or procession.

Augmentation of Ministerial Staff Strength in Police Dte
Augmentation of 14 different posts of Ministerial Staff comprising 06 posts of Lower Division Assistant, 06 posts of Upper Division Assistant, 01 post of Head Assistant and 01 post of Special Officer in West Bengal Police Directorate for smooth functioning of different wings under its control.

Additional Restrictions during Lockdown upto 15.01.2022
All government offices including public undertakings shall function with 50% of employees at a time. Work from home shall be encouraged as far as possible.
