Strike related Government Order from Home Department
Attempts at forcible closure of government offices, shops, markets, educational institutions, industrial establishments, etc should be firmly dealt with. All state government offices will remain open on those days and all government employees should report for duty.

RT-PCR Testing Restrictions for Long Distance Train Passengers
State government has decided to make it mandatory for all long distance train passengers coming to West Bengal from outside the state to possess an RT-PCR negative test report for a test conducted within 72 hours of such train departure.

Further Restrictions/ Prohibitions in West Bengal due to COVID
Generally speaking, number of invitees to marriages and other familial gatherings should be restricted to minimum possible number and at no point of time should there be congregations of more than 50 persons in any ceremony.

Prohibition on Assembly of Five or More Person
The Commissioner of Police, Kolkata has prohibited for a period of 60 days from 14th March, 2014 to 12th May, 2014 until further order, any assembly of five or more persons or procession.
