Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department (MAMED) works for the development and welfare of minorities to ensure protection of rights and provide opportunities for growth.
Scholarship upto Rs. 30, 000/- (i.e. upto Rs. 20,000/- per annum as course fee and Maintenance allowance upto Rs. 10, 000/- for Hosteller/ Rs. 5000/- for Day Scholar) per year.
Submission of Online Applications for Post-Matric Scholarship, 2015-16 by the students: 01st June to 15th September, 2015 (Fresh) and 01st June to 10th October, 2015 (Renewal).
The enrolment of class I to class X is required to be furnished as on 31.03.2015. The enrolment figure of class XI and class XII is to be furnished separately as on 31.03.2015.
Applications for Pre-Matric scholarship for Minority students are to be submitted through Offline (for classes I-VIII) and Online mode (for classes IX-X).
Heads/ Superintendents/ TICs of all types of recognized Madrasahs are requested to follow evaluation pattern of Class IX both at High Madrasah and Alim level for the Academic Session 2015.
Any teacher of Higher Secondary Section or Fazil or Normal Section (classes V to X) in an integrated Madrasah is to take any classes from I to XII (or Fazil standard) as per routine.
Collect the free text books for classes VI-VIII from the respective distribution centre by submitting the attested receipt copy of U-DISE (2014) to the concerned Circle Project Officer (SI/S(SE)).
All head of the institutes, teachers & other concerned persons are requested to cooperate with the Book Distribution Centre in all respects for smooth and successful completion of distribution of free text books.
Extension of the tenure of Managing Committees/ Ad hoc Committees/ Administrators of non-Govt. Junior High, High and Senior Madrasahs (aided & unaided) recognized by West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education.
Textbooks for classes IX and X published by West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education and West Bengal Board of Secondary Education to be purchased from the open market directly for the academic session 2015.
