Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department (MAMED) works for the development and welfare of minorities to ensure protection of rights and provide opportunities for growth.
For Meritorious students belonging to Minority Communities who are pursuing Technical/ Professional Courses at Under Graduate/ Post Graduate Level.
Extension of benefit of the Child Care Leave for a maximum period of two years to the regular female teaching and non-teaching employees of Government sponsored/ Non-Government aided Madrasahs.
6th SLST is re-scheduled to be held on 24th August, 2014 (Sunday) for preparing panel of Assistant Teachers and Under Graduate Teachers in Recognized Govt. aided Madrasahs in West Bengal. Admit Card will be available from 10th August, 2014 onwards.
This Holiday List shall be treated as model holiday List for the Academic Year-2023. The adjustment in Holiday(s) is permissible as per local need for festival and for any natural disaster subject to approval of the M.C./ Administrator as the case may be.
From www.scholarships.gov.in students can apply for Pre-Matric Scholarship, Post Matric Scholarship and Merit-cum-Means Scholarship as shown in flow chart.
Following prescribed text books will be enlisted in the book list of the Recognized Madrasahs for the Academic Session 2019. All the text books for classes I to VIII and few text books for classes IX and X will be distributed at free of costs.
Six formats have been prepared for six types of Madrasahs, namely, non Govt. aided Junior High Madrasah , High Madrasah, Higher Secondary Madrasah, Alim Madrasah (Senior Madrasah 10th Std), Fazil Madrasah (Senior Madrasah 12th Std) and Government Model Madrasah (English Medium).
Textbooks for classes IX and X published by West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education and West Bengal Board of Secondary Education to be purchased from the open market directly for the academic session 2015.
The authorities of the recognized Un-aided Madrasahs are requested to submit prayer for extension of tenure of provisional recognition of their Madrasahs.
Students who are pursuing Higher Secondary or Under Graduate/ Post Graduate or equivalent courses under recognized Boards/ Universities of West Bengal and other states are eligible.
