Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department (MAMED) works for the development and welfare of minorities to ensure protection of rights and provide opportunities for growth.
The last date for issue of Application Form for 53 nos. 2BHK/3BHK flats is extended upto 24.06.2014. The last date for submission of Application Form is also extended upto 02.07.2014. The Application Money to be submitted alongwith the Application Form has been revised to Rs. 3 Lakh only.
WBMDFC invites online applications for Scholarship from meritorious students belonging to Minority Community who are pursuing Higher Secondary course or Under Graduate/ Post Graduate courses under recognized Boards/Universities of West Bengal and other recognized Boards/Universities of other states of India.
Registration Certificate for Fazil – XI may be collected from the Board Office by the Madrasah authority on and from 09.03.2023.
It is notified for information to all concerned that the High Madrasah, Alim & Fazil Examination – 2023 (both Regular & External) will be held as per following schedule:-

Enlistment of Text Books for Classes IX and X in the Book List of the Recognized Madrasahs for the Academic Session, 2016. Text books of Bengali, English and Mathematics will be distributed at free of costs.
All the text books of Madrasahs for Session 2016 for classes I to VIII and few text books for classes IX and X will be distributed at free of costs. The books of classes IX & X will be available in the open market.
Extension of the tenure of Managing Committees/ Ad hoc Committees/ Administrators of non-Govt. Junior High, High and Senior Madrasahs (aided & unaided) recognized by West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education.
The Eligibility Criteria of Post-Matric Scholarship for Minority Students are as follows: 1. He/ She must be a citizen of India and domicile of West Bengal having annual family income less than Rs. 2.00 lakh and secured a minimum 50% marks.
