Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department (MAMED) works for the development and welfare of minorities to ensure protection of rights and provide opportunities for growth.
WBMDFC in collaboration with a number of ITCs are going to organise free ITI Courses for economically backward students of Minority Communities in trades – (1) Electrician (2) Fitter (3) Instrument Mechanic (4) Welder (5) Surveyor.
Post Matric Stipend for Minority Students under Post Matric Talent Support Programme 2013-14 is to be awarded to minority students to enable them to study from class XI to PhD.
The Eligibility Criteria of Post-Matric Scholarship for Minority Students are as follows: 1. He/ She must be a citizen of India and domicile of West Bengal having annual family income less than Rs. 2.00 lakh and secured a minimum 50% marks.
Regarding Transfer of Updated Service Book and Issuance of Last Pay Certificate in connection with General Transfer of Assistant Teachers and Non-teaching Staff of Govt. Aided Recognized Madrasahs of the State.

It is notified for information to all concerned that the High Madrasah,Alim & Fazil Examination – 2022 (both Regular & External) will be held as per following schedule:
Annual Academic Calendar for the academic session, 2018 has been prepared for smooth functioning of day to day academic activities of Madrasahs.
Heads/ Superintendents/ TICs of all types of recognized Madrasahs are requested to follow evaluation pattern of Class X both at High Madrasah and Alim level for the Academic Session 2016.
WBMDFC is going to provide scholarship to a maximum of 100 Muslim students of Class X pass out category in 2014 in order of merit out of the Haji Md Mohsin Endowment Fund Scholarship -2014 @ of Rs. 20,000/ each.
