Governor is pleased to form a committee comprising of the following Officers for fixing up the rates of such maintenance contracts alongwith necessary terms and conditions:

Provide CUG Mobile Service to Engineer Officers under PWD
Nodal Officer will be responsible for distribution of SIM, collection of bill for the active connections from the service provider and make necessary arrangement for payment of bills.

Creation of PWDs Establishments in Jhargram, Asansol and Kalimpong
Three new districts namely Jhargram, Asansol and Kalimpong is going to be created shortly. Accordingly matter of creation of establishments by reorganizing different Circles under PW Dte. and PW (Rds) Dte. was under active consideration of the Government.

Timely Execution of Lift Installation in Government Buildings
Fund demand of 80% of accepted amount will have to be placed with concerned Department/ Authority immediately on issuance of LOI and also for all legacy projects if not done earlier.

Appointment of Consultant for preparation of Detailed Project Report
Governor is pleased to empanel the following three Government Technical Institutes of National repute for preparation of DPR. (i) IIT, Kharagpur (ii) Jadavpur University (iii) Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur.

Guidelines for Engineer Officers of Social Sector, PWD regarding construction of building and other works of other Departments.

Immediate Repair of Potholes/ Ditches formed over Roads
Report on formation of potholes/ ditches if any should be given by the Junior Engineer to his superior officers immediately after inspection. The Junior Engineer should maintain one register for this purpose.

Valuation of Structures for Purchase of Land for Widening of Roads
Valuation of structures on roads of Public Works Directorate/ Public Works (Roads) Directorate/ NH Wing of Public Works (Roads) Directorate for acquisition/ purchase of land for widening of roads.

Procedure for Release of Security Deposit for Electrical Works
Where defect liability period is more than one year from the works completion date. i) 70% on completion of one year ii) 30% on completion of defect liability period.

Constitution of Advisory Team for Electrical Fire Safety
Advisory Team for Electrical Fire Safety to oversee implementation and monitoring of safe practice to eliminate risk factors relating to outbreak of electrical fire hazards in Govt. Hospitals in Kolkata.
