Governor is pleased to lay down, in suppression of all previous orders in the matter, the following scale for determining the cost of other Tender Documents in respect of the public works:
Public Works
Public Works Department provides infrastructural support for both original and repair works to all the departments directly under the Govt. of West Bengal.

Modified Sanctioned Strength in LDC and UDC Cadre under P.W.Dte.
Governor is pleased, in the interest of Public Service to notify a modified establishment wise sanctioned strength in L.D.C. & U.D.C. cadre under P.W.Dte. as depicted in the enclosed Annexure.

Reconstitution of Tender Committee of Public Works Department
In view of introduction of Integrated Finance Branch in Public Works Department a need was felt to reconstitute the existing Tender Committee for different wings of this department.

Creation of Posts in Public Works Department
Governor is pleased in the interest of Public Service to sanction creation of the following posts as mentioned at Col. No. 2 below in the Pay Band Scale with Grade Pay as indicated against each post at Col. No. 4 for the Offices/ Establishments as mentioned at Col. No. 5.

Time-Frame of Contractors Bill Submission by SAE, AE and EE
SAE is required to submit bills to the Sub-Divisional Office within 7 days after claim of the bills by the Contractor. AE should submit the same to Divisional Office within 15 days. EE should submit to concerned Treasury or PAO within fortnight.

Muster Roll (West Bengal Form No. 4794)
The nominal muster roll (Bengal Form No. 4794) is the initial record of the labour employed each day on a work, and must be written up daily by the subordinate deputed for the purpose.

Disposal of Scrap/ Condemned/ Obsolete Items through e-Auction portal of MSTC Limited
Governor has been pleased to accord approval for disposal of scrap/ condemned/ obsolete items through e-auction portal of MSTC Limited for which upto 3% of the H1 (sale value) may be allowed to MSTC Limited as service charges.
