The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted by West Bengal Board of Primary Education in accordance with the NCTE Guidelines on a single day throughout West Bengal.
Result of D.El.Ed. Part-I Examination, 2015, (Session: 2014-2016) has been published on the website www.wbbpe.org on 06.12.2016.
Notification in Respect of the TET qualified and D.El.Ed passed candidates of the session 2019-2021 for issue of TET-2014 Pass Certificate.
The teaching and non-teaching staff shall exercise their options in the prescribed form to switch over to Pension-cum-Gratuity Scheme and submit the same to the concerned Head of the Institution within 90 days from date of publication of notice.
Special Rules have been granted to several schools having religious/ linguistic minority certificate from the National Commission to be exempted under Section 15(a) of the West Bengal School Service Commission Act, 1997 from recruitment through the WBSSC.
The school authorities are now requested get themselves affiliated with the concerned academic Board/ Council in West Bengal or Central Boards as applicable.
Considering the changed weather conditions, it has been decided that all schools will remain closed upto 08.06.2019 and will open on 10.06.2019. Similar action is recommended for all un-aided schools also.
The Headmaster/ Headmistress/ Teacher in charge will oversee the Mid-Day Meal scheme (MDMS) so as to ensure its proper and uninterrupted functioning in the schools.
Minimum age of an intending Madhyamik candidates whose date of birth is within 31st October, 1999 are to be considered eligible to appear at the Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2014.
The heads of the institutions are requested to follow strictly the enclosed schedule of course-activities for the 2nd year of the Two Year D.El.Ed. Course (Face to Face mode).
