A Candidate applying for admission to the Two Year D. El. Ed. Course in an institution, recognized by the NCTE, and affiliated to the WBBPE should pass the H.S (+2) Examination.
This Code shall apply to (a) all Anglo-Indian Schools, (b) all listed schools and (c) all under graduate training colleges and such other institutions imparting either academic or vocational education through the medium of English as the State Government.

Blind and orthopaedically hadicapped teachers and non-teaching staff of Govt. aided secondary schools will get conveyance allowance @ 5% of basic pay subject to a maximum of Rs. 200/- p.m.
The Managing Committee existed for the aided school on 30.09.2013 will continue and act for the sponsored school till the new committee is formed under the rule of Sponsored Schools.
