To ensure universalization of Primary, Elementary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and to ensure quality education for Human Resource Development.
In conformity with the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, Government of West Bengal in School Education Department has decided to include class V in all primary schools of West Bengal in phased manner.
Where incumbent himself/herself happens to be the Headmaster/ Headmistress of a school and there is an absence of Managing Committee/ Administrator, the D.I. of Schools may release the incumbent subject to post facto approval of the Administrator/ Managing Committee, as and when appointed.
The handing over of printed registration certificates of the students of the session – 2017-2019 will be done in between 05/02/2019 and 06/02/2019 during office hours.
D. El. Ed. Part – II Examination (Theoretical) of the session – 2016-2018 (Regular) and of the sessions 2014-2016 and 2015-2017 (the continuing candidates) to be held on and from 17.12.2018.
NC and CC candidates will be instructed by the concerned S.I. of Schools/ Circle project Coordinators to submit the filled-in forms along with relevant documents and Bank Drafts within 06.08.2018.
Online Applications are invited for appearing at the Second Year Term End (Theoretical) Examination of Two Year D.El.Ed. Course (ODL), Session: 2015-2017 from the Para-teachers & Residual Primary School Teachers.
Para Teachers/ Primary Teachers who could not register for the D.El.Ed. Course of 2015-2017 should be instructed to register for the D.El.Ed. Course within 30.09.17.
Display of No Smoking Area signage at prominent places in the educational institutions as smoking in a public place is prohibited under section 4 of the Act.
Board has already published Test Papers 2016-17. These Test Papers will be distributed free of cost amongst all the examinees of Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2017.
Revised Annual Academic Calendar, 2017 and Holiday List, 2017 in cancellation of the Memo No. D.S.(Aca)/355/A/25/1 dated 07.12.2016.
