Problems regarding Admission and Fees in Elementary Education

Collection of fees in addition to Rs. 240/- per annum is punishable under RTE Act. Further, taking loan from guardian or any other authority to run the educational institution is not permissible. Head of the institution shall be personally responsible for the same and disciplinary action against Headmaster/ Headmistress will be taken it they are found to be charging any amount beyond Rs. 240/-.

Appointment of Administrator for Ward Education Committee

There is a situation prevailing in some Municipalities in the state where their terms have expired and the tenure of the Ward Education Committee (WECs) have expired and new WECs would be reconstituted only after the Municipal Election is completed; AND WHEREAS, it would be possible to form the new WECs only after the Municipal Election is completed;

District Inspector of School as Grievance Redressal Authority – RTE

District Inspectors of Schools (Primary Education) and (Secondary Education) are appointed as grievance redressal authority to dispose of the complaints on violations of various provisions of RTE Act in respect of Primary Education (i.e. from class – I to class – IV) and Upper Primary Level of education (class – V to class – VIII) respectively.

Discrepancies of Names of Untrained Teachers for B.Ed Training

Identify the candidates ineligible as per criteria and note it against the concerned candidate by noting IE against the name. In case of new addition, add the names from the last serial of the district’s list in the same format as supplied. The list after necessary corrections may be mailed back along with a certificate mentioning the number of additions and deletions made to the original list.

Extension of Tenure of Managing Committees – an Amendment

(i) Postponement of Election for Constitution/ Reconstitution of the Managing Committee of the Recognised Secondary Schools in view of the revised programme of Panchayet Election, 2013. (ii) Extension of the tenure of the Managing Committees/Ad-hoc Committees/ Organising Committees/Administrators upto 30.11.2013.

Madhyamik Test Exam Routine 2013 for External Candidates

Test Examination 2013, preparatory to Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2014 for External Candidates on and from 19th August, 2013 as per following programme. Examinees will collect their Registration Certificate on 8th August, 2013.
