Because of the prevailing heat wave it has been decided to approve the proposals of the Boards to reschedule the summer vacation which will now start from 2nd May, 2014 and end on 31st May, 2014.
Extra ordinary hot conditions are prevailing all over the State. As is the existing practice, whenever there is severe heat wave, all Government, Government Sponsored and Non-Government Aided Schools are rescheduled to morning school.
All the Government, Government Sponsored and non -Government Aided School Authorities under Kolkata Municipal Corporation Area are requested to run the schools in the morning session, if feasible, till closure of schools on account of summer vacation.
Summer vacation has been rescheduled and will start from 2nd May, 2014 and will end on 31st May, 2014 because of prevailing heat wave across the State.
All the Head of the Institution are informed that Schools earmarked as Polling booth not having electricity connection either will apply for temporary or for permanent connection from W.B.S.E.D.C.L. by 14-04-14.
All H.M. of Jr. High/ High/ H.S. schools are requested to send application to the children of age group 4-15 years of his/ her School (if any) who have fulfilled the requirements for National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement, alongwith above mentioned documents in the prescribed proforma within 17th April, 2014 positively.
All the Jr. High /High /Higher Secondary /Madrasah Schools under Bankura District will run in the morning shift with immediate effect to till summer vacation starts in the School, to protect the students from the unbearable scorching heat of the atmosphere.
Special attention should be given on hygiene. You have to make sure that the Cooks and Teachers taste the Mid Day Meal before feeding the children and no contamination occurs in the food.
