Transport Department operates from the State Administrative Buildings, i.e. Writers’ Buildings. The Kolkata RTO office is known as Public Vehicles Department.

Exemption of Tax Payment for E-Rickshaw Owners, 2015

Governor is pleased to exempt payment of taxes by the E-rickshaw owners for the financial year, 2015-2016 in public interest and to make the migration to the E-rickshaw regime seamless and barrier-free.

Nodal and Additional Nodal Officer of Transport Department
