ORDER
The undersigned is directed to state that after the restructuring of service conditions of Government Approved Part Time Teachers (PTTs), Government Approved Contractual Whole Time Teachers (CWTTs), it has been observed that some colleges faced problems in payment of Gratuity of Rs. 1.00 lakh (Rupees One Lakh) only from the Head of Account “18-2071-01-104-007-04-00-V” to erstwhile PTTs and CWTTs who retired before 01.01.2020 on superannuation after rendering at least 10 years of continuous and satisfactory service in Government/ Government-aided Colleges of West Bengal. The matter was taken up with the Finance Department and sorted out.
Hence, the undersigned is directed to approve the payment of Gratuity of Rs. 1.00 lakh (Rupees One Lakh) only under Demand No. 18 “2071-Pension & Other Retirement Benefits-01-Civil-104-Gratuities-00-Administrative Exp.-010-Payment of Gratuities to State aided College Teachers (SACT) of State aided Govt./ Non Govt. Colleges-04-Pension/ Gratuities” to the above mentioned Government Approved Part Time Teachers (PTTs), Government Approved Contractual Whole Time Teachers (CWTTs), who retired before 01.01.2020 on superannuation, after rendering at least 10 years of continuous and satisfactory service in Government/ Government-aided Colleges of West Bengal and are entitled to get such Gratuity in terms of Order No. 751-Edn(CS) dt. 21.09.2010.
The Undersigned is further directed to say that the Principal/ Teacher-in-Charge of the college will draw the gratuity amount of Rs. 1.00 lakh (Rupees One Lakh) only from the concerned Treasury or Pay & Account Office and disburse the same to the incumbent.
This is issued with the concurrence of Finance Department, Group-N-Budget Branch, Vide U.O. No. 5658, U.O. dated 02.02.2022.
