ORDER
Sub: Revision of financial power for sanctioning of reimbursement claims for medical treatment and attendance under West Bengal Health Scheme
The financial power to sanction reimbursement claims for medical attendance and treatment to the beneficiaries under WBHS has been defined and circulated vide Finance Department Notification Nos. 9-F(MED)WB dated 25.02.2019 and 19-F(MED)WB dated 15.02.2022. Subsequently, it has been felt necessary for further revision of the exiting limit to speed up the reimbursement cases as well as lessening the burden of upper tiers of the sanctioning authorities.
In supersession of all previous orders in this connection, the Governor has now been pleased to revise the financial power for different tiers of sanctioning authorities to sanction reimbursement claims under this Scheme in the manner and subject to limit/ ceiling stated below:

This order will come into effect from the date of issuance.
