MEMORANDUM
Every year 1st July is celebrated as Doctors’ Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Late Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, Ex-Chief Minister of West Bengal, and a half day holiday for the offices under State Government is notified.
This year 1st July has already been declared as State Government holiday vide Finance Department Audit Branch Notification No. 3640-F(P2), dated 26.11.2021, on account of Rathayatra festival.
It is hereby notified that along with Rathayatra, like previous years, the day will also be celebrated as Doctors’ Day.
