ORDER
WHEREAS the matter of implementation of the process of providing various e-services for issuance and renewal of various licenses and/ or NOCs under West Bengal Fire Services Act, 1950 and rules made there under, was under active consideration of the Government in recent past.
AND WHEREAS for ease of doing business the existing system of issuance and renewal of various licenses and/ or NOCs under West Bengal Fire Services Act, 1950 and rules made there under and to make it more accountable, transparent and user-friendly, it has been decided that henceforth such procedure of issuance and renewal of various licenses and/ or NOCs will be carried out by using a web-based portal www.wbfes.gov.in.
THEREFORE, the Governor is hereby pleased to introduce the use of the said web-based portal for online submission of application for issuance and renewal of various licenses and/ or NOCs under West Bengal Fire Services Act, 1950 and rules made there under, throughout the State on and from 17th July, 2017.
The applicants have to make application online through the said web-based portal namely www.wbfes.gov.in for issuance and renewal of various licenses and or NOC under West Bengal Fire Services Act, 1950 and rules made there under.
Unless mentioned otherwise, the existing paper based application, in offline mode, will not be entertained by the authorities or officials or stake holders under West Bengal Fire & Emergency Services on and from 17th July, 2017.
