Sub: Illumination of two bridges over river Saraswati located at Tribeni and Sankhanagar respectively.

I am directed to refer to your letter dated 13.01.2015 on the subject mentioned above and to say that as per the extant policy, PWD does not undertake maintenance of lights on the bridges. After the construction of bridges is complete, the lighting portion is transferred to concerned Municipality/ Panchayat for maintenance from their resources.
